Spanish Speaking Hispanics Have Higher Direct Mail Response Rates
- 64% of Hispanic adult consumers responded to direct mail in the last 30 days versus only 46% of the total U.S. adult population.
- Hispanics who speak primarily Spanish at home are even more likely to respond to direct mail in the past 30 days, at 70%
- Hispanics of Puerto Rican heritage are even more likely to use direct mail at 75%.
Hispanic Adults More Likely to Make Purchases Through Direct Mail
- 75 percent of Hispanic adults living in the United States have made a purchase through direct mail, compared to 62 percent of the non-Hispanic U.S. population
- Findings also show of the 75 percent of Hispanics who have made direct mail purchases, 14 percent first learned about the offering from television, compared to 9 percent of non-Hispanic adults
- Additionally, 19 percent of Spanish speaking Hispanics who've purchased through direct mail, first learned of the offering via television., compared to 11 percent of at-home English speaking Hispanics
