Safe Harbor Compliance
Vertis, Inc. complies with the Safe Harbor standards developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce in connection with the European Union Directive on Data Protection.
The principal information collected by Vertis that is subject to the safe harbor standards is information collected from the European Union about Vertis’ customers required by Vertis to provide those customers with marketing production services, including name, address, phone number, and e-mail address of our customers' clients. Vertis also may collect information from its customers and suppliers located in the European Union necessary to conclude business transactions, including name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and credit-related information (collectively, “Personal Information”).
Unless required by law or regulation, Vertis will not disclose Personal Information to third parties that are not acting on behalf of Vertis or use such Personal Information for purposes that are incompatible with the purposes for which it was collected without first giving the person who provided the information the right to "opt out" from the disclosure or use.
Vertis has adopted measures to minimize the risk of unauthorized disclosure, loss, or misuse of Personal Information provided to the Company.
