Michael DuBose 
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mike was appointed Chairman and CEO of Vertis Communications in December 2006.  In this role, he provides strategic direction for the organization.  Mike joined Vertis after serving as senior advisor to Aurora Capital and chairman of Anthony International. Mike served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of Aftermarket Technology (NASDAQ: ATAC), from 1998 to 2005.  Prior to his role at Aftermarket, Mike was chairman and CEO of Grimes Aerospace Company.  Mike has also held executive positions at SAIC, General Instrument, and General Electric Company. Mike has a bachelor of arts degree in finance and economics from the University of San Francisco and a master of science in management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

John Colarossi
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Vertis Media

John Colarossi joined Vertis Communications in January 2007. He brings more than 23 years of experience in marketing, sales, communications, and executive management in a range of high tech, telecom, and remanufacturing industries. Most recently, John was at Aftermarket Technology Corporation, where he served as president of the aftermarket segment and was responsible for full profit and loss statements for all aspects of the $22 million remanufacturer. Additionally, John has held management positions at various franchise and communications companies including AAMCO Transmissions, Capsule Communications, Digihut.com and Moran Industries. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, John is based in Clifton Park, NY.

Richard Guetzloff
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Richard was promoted to CIO in December 2007. When he joined Vertis Communications in September 2005, Richard was responsible for application and infrastructure support for over 100 locations. He implemented ITiL processes that resulted in productivity improvements in help desk and enterprise infrastructure while reducing costs. In addition, Richard rolled out Hyperion for financial and sales reporting, as well as SABRIX to standardize taxing and reporting. Prior to Vertis, Richard was responsible for IT Operations at companies such as RR Donnelley, Electrolux and US Cellular.

John V. Howard, Jr.
Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel

John was named Chief Legal Officer - General Counsel of Vertis Communications in July 2000. Previously, he was Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Columbine JDS Systems, Inc. and Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Laser Tech Color, Inc. Prior to joining Columbine JDS and Laser Tech Color, John was Chief Intellectual Property Counsel for Andersen Worldwide, S.C. in Chicago, the parent entity of Arthur Andersen and Andersen Consulting. Before leaving for Andersen, he was Chief Counsel for Denver-based Quark, Inc., in charge of all worldwide legal matters.  John is a Trustee of the Board of Trustees of the Hammond-Harwood Association in Annapolis.

Barry Kohn
Chief Financial Officer

Barry was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Vertis Communications in May 2007 and has more than 25 years experience in finance and accounting.  Prior to joining Vertis, Kohn served as CFO for United Plastics Group, Aftermarket Technology Corporation, and Grimes Aerospace Company where he effectively implemented various turnaround strategies.  Barry holds a master’s degree in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, both from Ohio State University.

Doug Mann
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Advertising Inserts

Doug Mann joined Vertis Communications as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Advertising Inserts in January 2007.  His role is to enhance operational and sales effectiveness, quality, and customer service. Most recently, he was at Gannett, serving in a dual role as President of Minneapolis Offset and Group Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the Gannett Offset Group.  He has experience in sales leadership roles at Ariston, as well as C2 Media selling large format.  At Reynolds & Reynolds, Doug held numerous positions within sales management encompassing the business forms, commercial printing, and direct mail product lines.

Charles Miotke
President, Direct Marketing
Chuck joined Vertis Communications in January 2008 to lead the Direct business.  Previously, he served 19 years in senior leadership roles at Quebecor World, including President of several business segments and targeted publications, Direct Mail, Premedia U.S. Magazine Groups.  He was also Executive Vice President for the Book Services group, and most recently served as Vice President, Global Manufacturing.  Prior to his time at Quebecor, Chuck was at Brown Printing Company for more than ten years.

Gary Sutula
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Premedia

Gary joined Vertis Communications in March 2005 and has more than 20 years experience as a leader in information technology.  Prior to joining Vertis, he helped build gLimit, a start-up company, and worked as strategic consultant for Electrolux.  In addition, he held CIO positions at American Savings Bank and Transamerica Financial Services, as well as a leading printing company.  In his previous positions, he led the development of IT strategy plans and the development of systems that improved internal efficiencies and created new business opportunities for clients.
